Lemony Smoked Trout Pasta made with our very own smoked trout!
We tried this super simple recipe and thought we should share it!
375 g, dry pasta
Tender vegetable medley 160G raw
Butler Country Estates Smoked trout 200 g, flaked
Lemon(s) ½ zest(s) of 1
Lemon Juice, Fresh 1½ tablespoons
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta according to pack instructions or until just tender, adding the vegetable medley until desired softness
Drain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water and vegetables and return to the pan. Add the smoked trout, lemon rind, lemon juice and 4tbsp of the reserved cooking water. Season with salt and pepper and toss to combine, then serve.
