Every year, we look for ways to evolve and improve our offering, and this year we decided to add something completely NEW to our range. To coincide with the wonderful Alresford Watercress Festival, we launched our very own Watercress Pesto.
And it certainly didn’t disappoint.
In fact, it sold out before the end of the festival and proved to be one of the highlights of the day. We were absolutely thrilled by the response, with comments of “Oooo, that’s delicious!” and “Yes, a pot please!” heard time and time again from visitors sampling it throughout the event. The feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that we’ve decided to make it a permanent addition to our range.
Made using vibrant, peppery watercress grown in Alresford by Arle Watercress, paired with rich, nutty Old Winchester cheese from Lyburn Farmhouse Cheesemakers and carefully sourced local ingredients, this pesto is fresh, bold and seriously moreish.
It’s been a real labour of love behind the scenes — countless tastings, recipe tweaks and plenty of enthusiastic spoon-dipping later — and we’re finally ready to share it with you.
And trust us… it’s worth the wait.
Whether you swirl it through pasta, spread it generously onto warm sourdough, dollop it onto brunch dishes or pair it with fish, it’s a true celebration of Hampshire flavour in a jar.
